The first CopMich Urology Symposium was held in November 2015 in Copenhagen. The symposium was attended by more than 100 people and focused on urologic oncology, andrology and the role of nurse practitioners in urology. The second symposium was held in Ann Arbor in August 2017 and was equally popular with attendance of nearly 100 people. The main topics for the 2017 symposium was endourology, voiding dysfunction and resident education. In addition the secretary general of EAU, Professor Chris Chapple and secretary of AUA, Professor Manoj Monga gave special presentations on global outreach initiatives of EAU and AUA respectively. The third symposium was held in Nyborg, Denmark, in August 2019 and covered the topics pediatric urology, urological oncology, benign urology and psychosocial issues / patient involvement. Again, it was a huge success with more than 80 attendees.
